Influenced in a great part by my Grandfather, who was raising a family in the Great Depression, I know things can turn bad quickly and last a long time. To compound the problem, back then America was awash with factories, and most of the population lived rural and raised most of the food they ate. He was fortunate to have a stready job thru the depression at the railroad, where he would end up working 40+ years. As rough as things were back then, it pails in comparison how things WILL get should there be an economic collapse, or outright kinetic war. May never happen (but will all can feel it’s possible/probable). Not only learning but practicing alternative ways can only expand your skill set, So many I have met face to face learn, cut never hone skills that may save your life as well as others you love. Turn off from the electronic world and learn now, while you can fail and learn, when it won’t effect your living till the next day. Besides, you just might inspire those in “your cirle” to join and spend quality time learning together. Making not only yourself, but the circle stronger!
