Refer to them as you will, but hypocrites and “religious” persons are everywhere here in the south. They have stickers on their cars, wear t-shirts espousing beliefs? or catchy sayings. Speech is filled with “be blessed” . Same ones are driving like they are only ones on the road, stopping in thoroughfares to have long social interactions, fighting scheming to get first in line or “privileged access”. I call them outward Christians. Church is merely a networking move, and mostly behind shunning , shaming when it is to their advantage to do so. Inward Christians are what I refer to as authentic followers. If yeshua (Jesus) is in your heart, people will sense that, broadcasting not needed. It shows in how you drive, park, line up and socialize Backbiting, two faced and pre-judgmental is not practiced. Surround yourself with “inward believers” and steer clear of the outward ones. If you ever see me out and about you should see inward practices even on bad day’s. I always try to be considerate of others IN ALL THINGS ! That does not mean I am a pushover or afraid to stand up to heathen or powerful (usually the same). It just means I will speak truth to the best of my understanding, and allow and not argue with the lost. In these times it is rare to find inward types, but worth the effort!
